Had lovely beach walks and took the bus into Newcastle. Visited at middleof February this year, got our caravan ok but had no hot water or heating , it took them 3days to get it working properly , the reason they said was that it was the 1st week of the season and they were still sorting other vans out,I said van should have been fixed before letting, I was met with silence, I pointed out that it was not fit for the purpose ,, I didn't even get an apology, badly let down Whitley bay need improve .Fantastic break we have just had! Thanks parkdean for a great week.Can't fault it for the price we paid. The Lighthouse also marks the finish line of the popular North Tyneside 10k Road Race.Overlooking the sea is a wonderful plaza and events space.
Whitley Bay Water Park is a great facility for young children. The water park has a variety of splash and spray features as well a water rill with channel and damn leading to a pooled area. The new entertainment manager Wesley was brilliant keeping the kids entertained. Would also be really good if some of the parents had some respect for other people in the park though with regards to talking at the top of their voices and swearing so late at night or waking everyone up so early in the morning...Fab time, Caravan spotlessly clean. Witley Court, Great Witley, Worcestershire, England is a ruined Italianate mansion. Its perfect for families and children, maybe an adults only corner would be perfect so we can't hear the sound of every child in the park running up and down the caravans like stampeding elephants and the adult entertainment could do with being a little earlier than 22:30pm. Whitley Bay also has a caravan park, a place I have driven past many times but never thought to explore. Witley common is easily accessible with footpaths are clearly marked.
