It's only be installed for a week but so far so good. This device is advertised everywhere (although to be fair not on the Netgear web site) as supporting a mesh mode and I don't consider WDS as mesh, just a wireless repeater. GearHead Technical Support makes it easy to fix issues on not just your NETGEAR purchase but for your entire home network. I explained how it coukdnt be a virus and he said he wouldnt fix it and hung up on me.
I clicked on the product support and talked to amazon whi said the unit was under a ten year warranty and emailed the number for netgear.
