2014/07/07 for Seat A1 The first class cabin on United Airlines's RJ145 features 0 standard seats in a 2-2 configuration. Fortunately there was a "C" seat I could switch. When in this seat, you are very close to the crew, and it does provide a more personal flying experince because the crew make an effort to get to know in this seat. In addition, I'm a long time business traveler, and I have never been on a filthier plane. Good visibility.
Love travel?
This plane is tiny and may be ok for 30 minute flights, but United regularly use it for 2.5 hour flights from Portland, Maine ('pwm) to Chicago (ord). The single seats also have very limited underseat storage. 43 à 52 cm (17"- 20")

It was only when I logged on and looked closer at our new seats on the United app that I realized we were on an Embraer 175 that has 12 first class seats in a 1 – 2 four row configuration. It was a 2 1/2 hour flight from HOU to HDN and was not crowded. You do get a lot of room, but you'll probably have to gate check your carry ons. I flew this from EWR to STL and at 2 and 1/2 hours it was not a pleasant experience, even though I'm hardly a large person (5'10", 170 lbs). 1A, 3CD, 18ACD
2014/04/01 for Seat 6c My Tinnitus is out of control as a result. They automatically gate check all other normally sized carry ons for free, so don't spend the extra money to check your carry on. SeatGuru User on I am not a tall or large person and never recline my seat.
It hurt! You will have to gate check your carry-ons because the overhead space is limited so don't even try to put your bags that have wheels into the overhead bin. Engine noise is loudest at the back of the plane. :-) Bottom line... was pleasantly surprised. Sometimes, I have noticed that this seat is a bit cooler than the rest of the plane, but it is nothing that is bothersome. The extra leg room they say is there is non-existent, unless you're 5'2" or smaller then you'll be comfortable. SeatGuru User on
