Did you try resetting the repeater?I can’t cannot see device (repeater 2 on list) so that i can change the name of the repeaterI hv tried a lot to connect everything is fine but when it’s reaching connecting device it say make closer actually it’s just next to it but again no connection I hv reset the router 3 time it doesn’t workAw, this was a really good post.

Sign in using the same e-mail and check whether the app detects the Repeater.I have this same problem my friend.. at the end of the set-up I was able to connect to the wifi.The PROBLEM is, it’s not appearing on the MI HOME APP, I can’t proceed to the steps you’ve given to CHANGE PASSWORD.Same problem with here. Any returned computer that is damaged through customer misuse, is missing parts, or is in unsellable condition due to customer tampering will result in the customer being charged a higher restocking fee based on the condition of the product.
Now everytime I plug it into my external battery it connects straight to my drone no problems.

Hi, Delete the Mi Home app and reinstall it.

Been using my Mi repeater for a good 2 years. Now if you select "OTHER" from the beginning (I hate to be so repetitive but it's very important) it will find the Mi device by itself.
I'll have to look at another brand because this is worthless to me right now.
The Mi Repeater 2 works in the same way as the Repeater 1.
