The premise-which revolves around people being selected for a reality show where they have to kill each other-is quite brilliant and I dig the way that the entire movie is shot like an actual episode of a fake television show (I know someone who turned on their television one night when it was on and they thought that it was for real and they were watching an actual show where people were really killing each other). They are not alone. A salvage crew discovers a long-lost 1962 passenger ship floating lifeless in a remote region of the Bering Sea, and soon notices that its long-dead inhabitants may still be on board.

There is an interesting cast of characters that make up the contestants for the show including the reigning champion (who happens to also be pregnant), her ex-lover (who has terminal cancer), a super religious nurse, an old man, a high school girl, and a middle-aged dad and at times some of them do some surprising things in order to survive. He is brought back to life by his mother as a flesh-craving zombie, who sires more teen undead while trying to control his, er, appetite for his beloved.
