I bought the E900 on amazon and set it up when it arrived. I followed the instructions for setup to the letter, but couldn't get the router to connect with my wireless laptop. My ISP provider (Comcast) was very good in helping us get connected to the router, even though this is not their product. The router and tablet work fine throughout my house. They are easy to install but only work just over a year. Unplugging the power and then plugging it back in seems to get it back on line. Chat line support staff were helpful, but nothing would work. After playing with it for far too long, my husband turned to the back of the cd case where it had a couple troubleshooting tips which said to turn off antivirus, which i did and then it did install ok. Router seemed to function well for a max of 2 hours and then it bricked up. Instead I was helped in great detail and was eventually able to get the thing working. Was hesitant to buy another one that's basically the same, but got the E1200 at target because it was the only reasonably priced on. needless to say I returned it. The final trick seemed to be to manually select channel 11 rather than let the router choose a channel automatically. It delivers the Wifi and delivers the internet when it's there. With the language problems communicating, I could not seem to get any satisfaction except to keep trying to trouble shoot. Big mistake! All devices behave reasonably well but the iPhone just keeps dropping signal thus going into 3G without me noticing it. My only problems were in the installation and setup with the Linksys technical support staff not being able to fix the problems. The WRT54GL may look more old fashion and have two distinctive and ugly antennas but it works much better and it is also more expensive and that may also say something about the better quality of the WRT54GL. I called for support and nothing helped.
